The Outlets Supervisor ensures that all Sheraton Hotel standards of service are followed by the Restaurant, Lounge, In Room dining and Starbucks. He/she supports the Outlets manger overseeing the complete operation of the Restaurant, In room dining and Starbucks while promoting a healthy and positive working environment. In addition, provides sincere service through actions that display self-confidence, grace and courtesy to guests and colleagues.This position requires the ability to work a flexible schedule either of the morning shift or evening, weekdays, weekends and holidays.


Assist in maintaining a consistently smooth running operation. Ensures a consistent guest dining experience. Works with the Restaurant Manager and Director of Food & Beverage to ensure all policies and procedures are being followed correctly. Assist in inventories, purchasing and scheduling. Ensures physical atmosphere and cleanliness of the restaurant, including inspecting table tops, and side stations.Welcomes guests to restaurant in a professional manner and interacts with guests . Communicates effectively with the Chef, kitchen and stewarding staff. Ensures prompt delivery of food to the guest's table. Has extensive knowledge of the restaurant menu and maintains the ability to describe both the ingredients and preparation of each dish. Maintains a daily log of important information to share with the department. Provides employees with the information needed to perform their job effectively. Maintains house bank and handles all cash according to hotel policies and procedures. Interacts with hotel staff in a professional manner, assisting other departments with necessary information.


High school diploma or equivalent required. 2-3 years prior hotel or restaurant supervisory or management capacity. Extensive food service knowledge. Extensive bar experience. Ability to bartend as required. Most become certified Barista in Starbucks. Working knowledge of wine and beverage service. Excellent communication skills. Understanding of hospitality operating systems. Ability to multi-task. Must have both Food Handler and UTABC certifications. Is able to lift, push and pull a minimum of 50lbs. Is able to stand/walk up to 6-8 hours per shift.
