The Sheraton Salt Lake City Hotel is recruiting for an enthusiastic individual that can handle high-pressure conditions and is flexible to handle changes. This position will be responsible to supervise and direct the Guest Services staff and make adjustments as needed to maintain service standards. Accept requests from guests and employees regarding luggage handling and storage, delivery of items, and transportation and assign agents to handle these requests. Resolve guest and employee concerns expeditiously in a manner which is beneficial to all involved. Must be proactive in the maintenance of the bell stand for appearance, organization, and operational effectiveness. Inspect employees' uniforms and operational departmental areas for cleanliness and organization, correcting as necessary and communicate expectations of these areas to the staff. Assist/conduct department staff meetings and daily pre-shift briefings. Supervise all group luggage transfers and amenity deliveries to ensure proper handling and completion.  Assist Front Office Manager in scheduling and payroll. Increase level of guest satisfaction by delivery of an exceptional product through employee development. Maintain and correct procedures for credit control, financial transactions, security of financial assets, and guest security. Ability to accurately use various office and accounting software.


Must have a comprehensive knowledge of all hotel departments and functions. Ability to work flexible shifts including both a.m. and p.m. shifts weekdays and weekends'. Must have prior front office experience in a full services hotel at a supervisor and/or managerial level.
